    “Da Wrixum direkt bei Wyk liegt, sind alle wichtigen Dinge schnell mit dem Auto oder dem Rad erreichbar. Nur fünf Minuten dauert es zum Supermarkt, zum Shopping oder diversen Restaurants. Zehn Minuten dauert es zum Strand/Watt in die wunderbare Natur. Für Kindern wird auch sehr viel angeboten.
    Sehr schön ist auch, dass beinahe überall kostenlos geparkt werden kann.
    Bei schlechtem Wetter ist unter anderem das Aquaföhr empfehlenswert - ein Salzwasserschwimmbad - sehr gut verträglich!”

    “Uns hat Wrixum gut gefallen. Brötchen konnte man direkt im Ort bekommen. Größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es nicht aber für uns war das kein Problem. Gastronomie am Ort haben wir nicht ausprobiert, da das Angebot begrenzt war. Wir sind dann nach Wyk gefahren. In Bezug auf die Gastronomie fanden wir es insgesamt etwas schwierig. Spontan Essen gehen war eigentlich nicht möglich, da man in der Regel nur über Reservierungen einen Tisch bekam. Offensichtlich wurden die Reservierungen bereits vom Heimatort getätigt. Hier war kein Platz für Spontanität. Das ist vielleicht noch ausbaufähig. Ansonsten waren wir von der Insel begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.”
