Comfortable three-room apartment for a maximum of six people, with a balcony, in a central location in Padua.
This three-room apartment with a separate kitchen is in a quiet and central residential location in the south-west of Padua. It is on the ground floor and provides 70m² of living space for up to six adults. The accommodation was fully renovated in 2014.
All the rooms provide access to the balcony with a view of the garden of the residential house. The site is completely enclosed. Pets are allowed on request.
The living and dining room is simply but functionally furnished with a sofa, an antique sideboard and a dining space with six chairs. There is a modern flatscreen TV on the sideboard. The sofa can be used as a comfortable bed for two people. The separate kitchen is fully-equipped with a four-flame gas stove, oven, toaster, kettle, mixer, espresso pot, cutlery, crockery and all other cooking utensils. The sleeping area comprises two rooms: a large and light double room with a double bed, a dresser and a clothes rack, and a smaller room with a bunk bed, a dresser and a clothes rack. The daylight bathroom is tiled and fitted with a modern shower cubicle, a washbasin, WC and hairdryer. Towels, bed linen and toiletries are provided. Heating and air conditioning are available in all the rooms. An iron, washing machine, DVD player and free wireless Internet access are provided.
The holiday accommodation is a perfect starting point for exploring Padua. The house is in a central district on the edge of the old town. Shops and all kinds of services can be found nearby, along with an ATM, restaurants and cafés. It is a short walk to the botanical gardens of the university, as well as the St. Antonius Basilica, one of the most famous and frequently visited sacred sites in Italy. You can walk to the Prato della Valle spanning 90,000m², the largest inner-city square in Padua and also one of the largest in the whole of Europe. It is no wonder that it is a popular place for strolling and watching the world go by. The elliptical shape of the square provides a clue that once an enormous Roman arena stood here. To explore the rest of the city you can use the well-developed public transport network. Many trams and buses stop near the apartment. You can also go on a trip to the Adriatic beaches. Just 30km to the east there is also Venice, which will entice you with its sights. Mantua, Verona and other northern Italian cultural cities are easy to get to from Padua. The owner can provide advice when planning trips, or with bookings, and can arrange transfers to and from the airport or the train station.
