They are also known for their gastronomy and in the local taverns you can taste jarbola, a wine with a specific flavour made from the indigenous grape variety. The nearby Uka Nature Park is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Lovers of active holidays can enjoy the extraordinary nature here, which is adorned with many protected and rare animal and plant species. From the top of Vojak you have a phenomenal panoramic view of the Kvarner islands, Istria and Rijeka.
