In a few minutes walk you can reach the lake, it is part of the Emån, where the boat is also moored. Only 15 km away is Vetlanda, there you can shop and eat well. Day trip destinations: Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Öland, Gränne, golf courses (the nearest is only 17 km away). In winter there is a ski resort in Kettilsås (17 km).
