Soline by Dubrovnik, Croatian Adriatic Coast, (Dubrovnik and the surrounding area), Croatia
Only 9 km from Dubrovnik, nestled amid oleander and olive trees, lies the small village of Soline.
That’s where Villa Soline is located. The Villa is looking to the sun and built in first row to the beach.
Here you can still enjoy the Mediterranean tranquility and seclusion, far away from the bustling city.
In addition to many 5-star hotels, for which Dubrovnik is known, Villa Soline stands out in the offer of the Dalmatian luxury Holiday-villas.
The villa extends over 3 floors with a total of 350 m2 and a 1.200 m2 garden. It owes its special charm to the traditional Mediterranean limestone facade and many roofed terraces.
Enjoy the shadow in the Dalmatian peace and seclusion in our private swimmingpool that extends over 50m² and includes a whirlpool corner for maximum relaxation.
On the ground floor you will find an entrance hall, a large living room with a large high-definition TV with DVD-Player, satellite-TV and a hi-fi system with speakers spread all over the house and pool area. As well as a generous dining room and a fully equipped kitchen where you will find a bar together with all kinds of kitchenware and appliances. In addition there is a laundry- and bathroom equipped with two washing machines, a toilet and a lavatory. The floor also includes a winter garden and a special room with a large wood/charcoal grill made of massive stone. All around the villa extends a wide flagged and partly roofed terrace with a stone pavilion and beautiful planting.
The first floor contents a small entrance hall, a great kitchen with dining room, which is of course as perfectly equipped as the kitchen in the ground floor, two bedrooms, one with satellite-TV and audio epuipment and kingsize bed and one with audio equipment and a massage chair and double bed and also a living room with satellite-TV, audio equipment and two convertible sofas for 2 extra persons to sleep, as well as a bathroom with toilet, shower and lavatory. The first floor lets you access two large balconies, which are partly roofed and equipped with sunbeds, tables and chairs for an unforgettable candlelight dinner under the dalmatian moon in summertime. A special highlight is located on the second floor. It is a giant bathroom containing a whirlpool, a two-person sauna, a shower and two lavatories together with an own balcony. On this floor there is another bathroom with toilet, shower and lavatory and two bedrooms with kingsize beds, satelite tv and audio equipment. One of them even with a living room suite and both access to the balcony from which you can enjoy the beautiful view over the endless ocean and the beautiful city of Cavtat.
A special highlight to visit is the old town of Dubrovnik. It represents a special magical attraction for visitors from all over the world. Although it is located in the middle of Europe it's far away from the crowded Mediterranean tourist centers.
The whole region is steeped in history. The first towns were founded here in ancient times as Greek colonies. But traces have also been left later by the Romans, who have stated Dalmatia as one of their provinces. In the Middle Ages the city of Dubrovnik became a wealthy trading metropolis and proclaimed republic.
The Republic of Ragusa (the former name of Dubrovnik) lasted for centuries.
In the year 1808 it was occupied by Napoleon. After a short while it became a part of the Austrian-Hungary monarchy.
After the First World War, it was indeed a part of Croatia, but belonged to the Yugoslav State alliance. Since 1991 Croatia is independent and Dubrovnik, as the "Pearl of the Adriatic coast" became the flagship of Croatian tourism.
On your way to the sea your only accompaniment is the lush Dalmatian vegetation such as laurel, pine, olive and orange trees.
