Holiday House in Feriendorf Silbersee with Barbecue, Garden and Terrace

The idyllic and quiet holiday house for 6 people is situated in the Silberse holiday park, in the middle of Germany, only about a 40-minute drive south of Kassel. The holiday village is surrounded by extensive forests, ideal for walking and mountain biking.

The house totals 75m² and is on three floors. It was fully insulated and newly plastered in spring 2013, so the outer façade appears new. A hallway leads to the open living and dining room with a sofa, three comfortable armchairs, a table, a TV and a generous fireplace that can be used at any time of year and exudes a pleasant atmosphere with its crackling fire. Plenty of firewood is available free of charge. What could be more enjoyable than ending a lovely holiday day in front of a crackling fire in the fireplace in the evening? The sofa can easily be extended into a double bed, so that up to 8 people could be accommodated in the house. There is an adjoining dining space with a cosy and generous sitting corner. A small stairway leads to the gallery with a built-in kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, hand mixer, crockery etc. and an adjoining sitting corner for 4 people. Next to it there is a shower room with a shower, washbasin and WC. On the same floor there is the first bedroom with a double bed and a flat-screen TV. From here you can also access the separate toilet with a washbasin and WC. Rustic wooden stairs lead to the top floor with two bedrooms each with two beds and their own washbasin. Both rooms open onto a balcony. Free Internet access is available.

The house is on a 700m² quietly situated corner plot and is therefore shielded from curious onlookers, ensuring privacy. The site stretches as far as the adjoining forest, which children can also use as an ‘adventure forest’. In the forest there is a corner seating group in the forest with trees providing shade, idyllic for having meals. The house has 8 garden chairs with two tables and a wooden seating group for 6 people, as well as four sun loungers for relaxing and sunbathing on the very large site. There is also a brick-built outdoor grill. You can also find children’s play equipment in the house such as a children’s bicycle, pedal tractor, tricycle, bobby car, badminton, balls etc, which can be used free of charge at your own risk. Family-friendliness is important here.

The park offers a range of recreational possibilities such as a modern climbing park, a big indoor play paradise, a wellness paradise with indoor pool, a miniature railway, an all-weather luge, a small animal zoo, archery, minigolf, skating and boccia alley, football/tennis/basketball courts, adventure playgrounds etc.

From the A7 exit Homberg (Efze) you continue along the B323 and B254 to the exit Frielendorf Nord and reach the holiday village after 1km, situated by the lake Silbersee of around 10,000m². It is only about 400 metres from the house to the beach at Silbersee, with boating and fishing. Fishing rods can be provided if required.
