In den vergangenen Jahren wurde der über 140 Jahre alte Bauernhof zu Haus Moorhausen umgestaltet, einem Gebäudekomplex inmitten von 10.000 qm Gartenlandschaft mit alten Bäumen.
Abseits von Tourismusströmen grenzt das Gelände an Pferdekoppeln und Kuhweiden benachbarter Höfe an. Haus Moorhausen ist dennoch gut von der Autobahn A 29 erreichbar (siehe Wegbeschreibung) und nur jeweils 4 Kilometer von den Städtchen Varel und Dangast entfernt.
Im Feriendomizil Haus Moorhausen kann jeder seine individuelle Entspannung vom Stress in einer der drei Ferienwohnungen (bis zu 8 Personen) suchen. Vor den Türen können die Terrassen und die Liegewiesen des weitläufigen Grundstücks genutzt werden.

A beautiful flat awaits you, rustically furnished in the former Moorhausen farm. You enter your flat via the terrace. In the sunny summer, the doors are open and you can spend a lot of time on the terrace or in the garden. If it gets "uselig" and rainy, the heating and a wood-burning stove have to provide the right warmth. You are welcome to light the stove daily with our wood. We will be happy to instruct you in the art of fireplace firing.
The 105m² barn flat can accommodate up to 8 people in 5 rooms. The 5 bedrooms are not large, but offer everything you need for a good night's sleep. The single beds in the double rooms can be pushed together to form a double bed. An open-plan kitchen with bistro counter is connected to the living room. They are equipped with a TV, fridge, cooker with oven, dishwasher and all the necessary kitchen utensils.
Dogs are also welcome in the barn flat. We count on your co-operation and ask you to supervise your pets on the property so as not to disturb free-roaming cats or children at play. In the immediate neighbourhood there is a sandy path (agricultural road without traffic) for hours of walking. Here you can let the dogs run free. Please contact us if you have any further questions about holidays with your dog at Haus Moorhausen. We will be happy to advise you and give you tips.
We need your help in enforcing the house ban on spiders.
You are welcome to use the large garden area and the barn - ideal even in bad weather. Seating is available in the outdoor area. You can also store your own bicycles in the barn.
Please bring your own bed linen (sheets and covers) and towels for your stay in the barn flat. Alternatively, you can book these from us for 10 euros per person.
We recommend that you bring slippers to protect the natural wooden floors.
Please do not forget to pay the visitor's tax.
