Apartment in Engadine house - fresh and comfortable

Welcome to ENGADIN HOLIDAYS, your vacation home at the most beautiful end of the world

We stand for:
- lovingly furnished, comfortable accommodation in Guarda
- as well as for personal, competent guest care for young to wise, with two to four legs
- for the Engadine and the surrounding area.

The Chasa 32 is a traditional Engadine house with modern comforts.
Built in the 17th century, the farmhouse was extensively and lavishly restored and renovated in 2017. Centuries-old characteristics were preserved, and the infrastructure was modernized to achieve today's comfort.
The house is heated by underfloor heating. Climbing stairs is required.

- 3 bedrooms with double beds (darkening with honeycomb blinds)
- 1 living, dining and kitchen area (very well equipped)
- 1 shower room + 1 WC
- TV with 30 hours comeback TV, DVD player

- Large north-facing terrace with seating and sun loungers
- Storage facilities for winter equipment and bicycles
- 1 parking space at the house, more in the municipal parking lot (20 CHF/week)

- Toboggan - Kathrein touring toboggan for 1-2 people

Dog guests can expect the following comforts: orthopaedic dog beds with cuddly inserts, towels, and bowls.

Location description:
Guarda, a small village in the Engadin valley, lies high above the Inn on a sun-drenched south-facing terrace.
It is one of the best-preserved Engadin villages and exudes a fairytale atmosphere with its centuries-old houses. "The houses in Guarda weren't built, they grew."
Everything in the village is within walking distance, including the restaurants and the small supermarket (open every day except Sunday)
Thanks to the well-organized and convenient public transport (free of charge in the region, even for pawsome guests), you can leave your car at home.
For example, you can reach the ski area or the spacious spa and sauna area, Bogn Endiadina Scuol, quickly and easily while staying away from the hustle and bustle.

There are many exquisite offers for culture lovers.
Guarda is also the home of Schellen-Ursli, the main character of one of Switzerland's best-known picture books.
On the Schellen-Ursli themed trail with various adventure stations, young and young-at-heart can follow in the footsteps of Chalandamarz.
Numerous fireplaces invite you to barbecue, linger and play.

The climate in the valley is mild, sub-alpine with little dust, dry air, low cloud cover and LOTS of sunshine all year round.
The Lower Engadine is still an insider tip for those seeking peace and quiet, even for pawsome guests.
The nature is beautiful, diverse and together with the attractive offers of the region you have a variety of opportunities to actively relax.

    “Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt in der Wohnung und haben alle vier erstaunlich gut geschlafen und erholt. Positiv: Die Ferienwohnung liegt mitten im Dorf, sehr zentral. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet.
    Die Gästebetreuung war wunderbar, herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Negativ: Leider hatte nur noch ein Restaurant geöffnet.
    Die Polstergruppe hatte einen Überzug aus Kunststoff, das fanden wir nicht so angenehm, obwohl wir den Grund für eine gute Reinigung verstehen. Restaurant: Piz Linard in Lavin - Ein Dorf mit einem Hauch Italinata, das Restaurant hat einen eigenen Stil, alt mit neu ,einfach aber mit viel Stil. Es ist auch ein Hotel. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber fein und Regional mit viel Fantasie und Liebe gekocht und zubereitet. Die Preise sind im mittleren Bereich. Ausflüge: Der Höhenweg von Garda nach Lavin ist Wunderbar. - Der Höhenweg nach Lavin ist einfach zu begehen und bietet eine wunderbare Aussichtskulisse. Ca. 1 Stunde. Sehr gemütlich.”

    “Sehr empfehlenswert Positiv: Sehr persönliche Betreuung...man fühlt sich als willkommener Gast. Super Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und Spaziergänge. Parkplatz direkt beim Haus.”

    “Insgesamt positiv Positiv: Lage, schöne grosse Schlafzimmer, grosses Sofa im Wohnzimmer, grosszügige Parkplätze. Gutes Wlan Negativ: Für diesen hohen Preis nur ein Badezimmer ist etwas mager. Ungenügende Verdunklung für die Nacht in den Schlafzimmern. Zum Teil keine Möglichkeit das Zimmer dunkel zu machen. Komplizierte Fernsehbedienung.”
