Silo holiday flat with small garden

The holiday flat is located in a feed silo from the time of the lords of the manor, which was extensively reconstructed in 2005. The property is a listed building and is an eye-catcher at any time of year. The special experience is living in round rooms over 2 floors! Since 2022, a sauna has been available to guests on request and for a fee. Wellness and therapeutic massages can also be booked.
The flat is 72 m² in size and has 2 rooms, 1 bathroom with shower and a kitchen with dining area. It has a separate entrance and a small garden with barbecue facilities. Poppendorf is one of the most beautiful villages in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It developed from an old manor house and significant parts of the complex are well preserved. In particular, the manor house (Musenhof) with the "Musenstall" and the adjoining park is a popular destination for relaxing walks.
The village has an organic food shop and a café, a children's playground and a new football pitch with basketball court. There is also a small lake with a river running through the park. There is a restaurant in the neighbouring village.

    “Das Silo ist eine tolle Unterkunft, in der wir 12 schöne Tage verlebt haben. Die Gastgeber sind total nett und immer hilfsbereit. Auch das schöne Dorf Poppendorf lädt zum Besuch ein. Für Hundebesitzer ideal, nah an Wald und Wiese. Es ist zentral gelegen zwischen Wismar, Rostock, Stralsund und Rügen.”

    “Auf jeden Fall einen Aufenthalt wert, nette Vermieter, super Unterkunft, nicht weit von Karls und einem Reiterhof, rund um schöne Sache. Positiv: Ein ehemaliges Futter Silo wurde zu Wohnraum umgebaut, eine total super Idee und auch super umgesetzt, runde Räume, einfach Klasse gemacht. Negativ: Es gab nichts zu meckern Restaurant: Karls - Lecker essen, gut geschmeckt Ausflüge: Karls Rövershagen - Wer kennt Karls mit Kindern nicht, immer eine Reise für die Kinder wert.”

    “Unkomplizierte Abwicklung, auch zu CoronaZeiten ohne persönlichen Kontakt möglich.

    Vermieter bei Problemen im Haus.

    Haus ist relativ hellhörig.

    Küche alles nötige vorhanden, aber relativ klein, gerade für 6 Personen (2 Erwachsene/4 Kinder) recht eng. Ebenso das Bad mit Dusche.

    Wir haben uns dennoch wohl gefühlt. Den kleinen Spielraum mit diversen Spielsachen möchten die Kinder sehr.

    Die Schlafmöglichenkeiten sind bequem und alles schön kuschelig warm.

    WLAN funktioniert super.”
